Frequently Asked Questions

What is your style of photography?

My style is a mix of candid, authentic moments and traditional posed images. I alway make sure to give you plenty of variety to choose from. In terms of my editing style, I provide true-to-life, vibrant color that will withstand the test of time and look as beautiful in 30 years as it does today.

How far in advance should we book your services?

For portraits and commercial photography, I often book 1-3 months in advance. During the busy summer and fall seasons, I often book up to 6 months in advance.

For weddings, I typically book 1-2 years out. If your wedding is less than a year away, don’t be afraid to reach out though, I occasionally have availability for short-notice bookings!

How soon do we get our photos?

Portrait session clients receive their images about 2.5 weeks after their session. Wedding clients will receive a large sneak peek within a week of their wedding, and will receive their full gallery in 6-8 weeks.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

For portrait sessions, if we need to reschedule due to weather conditions, I'll be keeping an eye on the forecast and will make the call either the night or morning before your session. If anyone being photographed isn't feeling well, please let me know so we can decide how to proceed. Unfortunately, there are no refunds in the event of cancellation, but we'll work together to find the best alternative date. If you do not show up for your scheduled session, no refunds will be given and your session and fees paid will be forfeited.

For weddings, your cancellation policy will be outlined in your contract.

Are you insured?

Yes I am and I am happy to provide your venue with a Certificate of Insurance!

What’s with the turtle in your logo?

Great question! The sea turtle is a representation of the connection I and my work have to the New England shoreline: during the warm season, 80% or more of my portrait sessions are by the water! If you look closely at the logo, you will also notice a symbol in the middle, which is the Taino symbol for the sun. The Tainos are the indigenous people of Puerto Rico. I included this element as a nod to my Puerto Rican heritage and the celebration of diversity that my work encompasses.
