CT Boudoir Photographer | Boudoir Special Event

You may have heard that I am having a special boudoir event on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023.

You’ve may have also heard that my Boudoir Sessions are really fun. Or, you have a friend who did one and felt nervous beforehand, but ended up having a total blast.

But you're still not sure - you're kind of thinking about it... but you have questions.

That's totally fair. I’ve been in your shoes and have felt nervous booking my own boudoir sessions. Or at the very least, a little apprehensive. It's totally normal to have lots of things you are wondering about before you decide to book. Here are the answers to some of the most common questions people have when they are thinking of booking a boudoir session with me:

Q: What does it cost?

A: Sessions during my December 2023 special event are $400 and include 3 high-resolution digital images with printing rights. Your session fee includes professional makeup application as well. Please note that this special pricing is ONLY available on Sunday, December 3rd.

File and product upgrade options are as follows:

Single Digital Image: $75

Add 7 files (10 total): $250

Upgrade to ALL files (approximately 20-25): $450

Signature Black Book - up to 20 page, (8x8 inch custom heirloom album with lay-flat pages)  $500

Q: Where does the session happen?

A: The Siren Boudoir event will be held in Brenda's studio in downtown New London, CT. There are multiple posing areas, including a gorgeous blue velvet couch, full bedroom, 8 foot windows and vintage chairs.

Q: Who will be there during the session?

A: Besides me (someone has to take the pictures, right?) and you, our makeup artist, Idis Andi Makeup will be there.

Q: What do I wear?

A: Whatever you are comfortable in - whether that is next to nothing, lingerie, a coverup of some sort, or your partners clothing! We can use 1-2 outfits as time allows.

Q: Will you do my make-up?

A: Yes! Idis, our special event make-up artist will be there to make sure your true beauty shines through! Idis is skilled and experienced in doing makeup on all skin tones.

Q: Will you do my hair?

A: Due to time constraints, we are unable to include hair. Please arrive at the studio with your hair styled as you want it for photos.

Q: Do you use props?

A: For the most part, I like to take natural, prop-free photos that are timeless. However, I do think that a well thought out prop can make photos like these even more meaningful for the recipient. Talk to me about your prop idea before your session!

Q: What else do I bring?

A: We've already established what you should bring in terms of clothes, make-up, and props, but you may also want to bring a great pair of heels for variation.

Q: Will you tell me how to pose?

A: Yes! I will guide you in posing to ensure you feel comfortable and look and feel your best.

Q: How should I do my hair?

A: Some women choose to have their hair done professionally at a salon before their session; others do it themselves before coming. If you have long hair, I recommend wearing it down. If you want to tie it back/up for a few towards the end of your session, we can do that too!

Q: How else do I prepare for the session?

A: Relax - seriously! Don't stress out about it and be ready to have fun. Have an open mind and be prepared to appreciate your own unique beauty. I will also send you a session prep list prior to your session.

Q: What if I am too nervous?

A: It is totally normal to feel nervous about it, but I will ensure you are comfortable and feel natural during the session.

Q: Will you photoshop my photos?

A: I believe that ALL bodies are good bodies, so I will not alter your body shape or size.

I do retouch all images by removing anything that is not permanent (such as acne or bruises).

Q: Who sees my photos?

A: The only ones who will see your photos are the ones you allow. I will NEVER, ever, share your boudoir photos online or use them for marketing purposes without your consent.

Q: When will I receive my images?

A: You will receive the link to your online, password protected proof gallery by midnight on Wednesday, December 6th. From your proof gallery, you can choose your 3 included images and purchase additional images or an album. Custom Albums (if purchased) will be available for pickup within 1 week of image selections being made (they can also be shipped directly to you for a $10 fee).

Q: How can I book my Boudoir Session?

A: All of my session booking is done online HERE - session booking is first come, first serve and spots are very limited, so please book ASAP.
